What to do in Bangkok? The #18 of things to do in Bangkok is to eat in the shopping mall Terminal 21.
Bangkok is full of shopping malls, all of them have food courts, and most of them have a special Street food court. One of the best and cheapest Street food courts is in the shopping Mall Terminal 21- called Pier 21.
This food court has a big choice of traditional Thai dishes, and it’s hard to believe, but it is cheaper than real street food on the Street. All of this is on the top floor of the shopping Mall with a big seating area. You have to top up a card and pay with that card. In the end, you get the rest of the money back. Pad Thai costs only 35 THB and dumplings only 40 THB, for example.
Taking into account that it is inside a shopping mall with actual fridges and hygiene regulations, it’s even cleaner than the (also spotless) street food in Bangkok.
The best way to reach Terminal 21 is by BTS or MRT. The nearest MRT stop is called Sukhumvit, and the nearest BTS station is called Asok.
